Students of the Green School Committee at the launch of Biodiversity week at Colaiste Muire on Monday 6th of March 2017. The whole school took part in spending the first class looking through the Power Points of the importance of Biodiversity. This was done in order to raise awareness of Biodiversity in the school.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW 

As part of the Environmental Review a habitat map was compiled. This map shows the geographic distribution of different habitats within the school grounds.

HABITAT MAP 1 - shows the distribution of habitats in 2015 before our biodiversity programme.

HABITAT MAP 2 - shows the distribution of habitats in 2017 following the initiatives undertaken during the two year biodiversity programme.
