Mix Your Mode - March 26th 2014 - Travel Initiative
Coláiste Muire staff and students are partaking in a whole island initiative on sustainable travel called Mix Your Mode on March 26th. The Green Schools Committee have surveyed how our staff and students travel to school every morning. We are trying to make an effort as a school to travel in a more environmentally friendly way.
We hope to get everyone walking, cycling, roller-blading, skipping or dancing to school! Any mode of transport that is friendly to our environment and does not emit carbon dioxide into our atmosphere is encouraged. All students are asked to support this initiative and to become involved by signing the pledge in the Curriculum links document below and by mixing their mode.
Please see the links below for further information.

Travel Rap
Don't get in the the van,
unless they offer you a coke can,
If you take the bus,
you'll have to deal with us,
If you take the car,
you won't get far,
If you walk home,
you'll never walk alone,
I am a white rapper,
I do this all the time,
people don't like me,
'cause my words don't match.
Travel Song

tá sé i bhfad níos fearr
ná dul ar scoil sa charr
Ta coiste glas na scoile,réidh don cheathrú brat,
ach caithfimidne smaoineamh ar an gcóras
taistel ceart
Tabhair siob do do chara,
