Colaiste Muire Green Schools Committee

Celebrating success!

A party was held for the Green-Schools Committee to acknowledge the hard work and commitment each member displayed in the two years spent trying to obtain the flag.

 End of our day out

At the end of the day to help us relax we reflected on the day in the park. Check out the pictures taken on the day. These spectacular facilities are available at the rear of the Life Time Lab.

Get in touch with us at cmuiregreencommittee@hotmail.com for further details.

World Water Day

Here at Coláiste Muire the Committee is getting very excited about World Water Day.  For teachers we've added some resources under the water section of the site.  Here you can find a link to the UN site as well as a Youtube clip on the right.

We'd also appreciate it if anyone out there has resources that they would like to share with us. Feel free to e-mail us on cmuiregreenschools@hotmail.com

To mark World Water Day a whole school quiz will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday 22nd March.  Answers to the quiz questions are posted around the school.  Familiarise yourselves with these facts.  Additional facts will be posted on the website and in conjunction with Seacthtain na Gaelige beidh cúpla ceist le freagairt as gaeilge!
